Blog for Microsoft Flight Simulator Development

Happy Thanksgiving from everyone at Microsoft Flight Simulator to all our virtual pilots in the US!

The development update blog has been reduced for this week as a large part of our staff is based in the US HQ and is now spending the long holiday weekend visiting relatives.

Next week, we’ll be back with a comprehensive blog article. We are still closely monitoring your comments on Sim Update 11 and the 40th Anniversary Edition.

We’ve released a new beta build (1.29) and run a public beta test to directly address some of your comments and concerns.

  1. 0), mostly for the Airbus A310, with numerous bug fixes and enhancements.

We had the pleasure of hosting Jorg and Seb live on our Twitch channel last Friday to answer questions from the public and discuss the 2023 roadmap for upcoming releases.

If you weren’t able to watch the live stream, you can watch the recorded version on YouTube here or read the transcript here.

Last but not least, earlier this week we encountered an issue that made it impossible for gamers to uninstall fresh PC installations of Microsoft Flight Simulator.

Now that the issue has been resolved, installations are once again operating normally. We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your patience while our support teams worked to implement a resolution.
